The HEADSPACE Seminar out in Las Vegas is now history. I want to thank all the folks who attended this seminar, and of course, for your participation. As those of you who attended now realize, the work that needs to be done in order to become successful IS NOT easy. There’s a lot to it.
Still, there are always going to be a few in the crowd who will simply brush this past weekend’s worth of information aside. It’s inevitable. There are always the weak amongst the herd. I know who they are, and I believe they know I know who they are. These are the folks who will say things (to themselves) like, “I know who I am and there’s nothing that needs changing. I AM ME!” Great. Have fun with that, but 10, 20, 30 years down the road, don’t start asking what went wrong. YOU went wrong!
The folks who attended the HEADSPACE Seminar this past weekend are now 25% further ahead than folks who did not attend this seminar (sorry about the confusion Eric). How can I make such a bold statement? Easy. It’s TRUE. Knowing how to get somewhere is said to be half the battle. To err on the side of conservatism, I prefer to cut that number down to something more realistic…like 25%.
As painstaking as it may be at times, I go into great detail as to what MUST be done in order to be ultimately successful. In effect, what I told the group who attended the event was, “It’s not enough to simply have a plan; there’s also a lot of preparation before embarking on a trip.” By Saturday evening, I think everyone got that.
The folks who attended the HEADSPACE Seminar were brave. They knew that they needed some direction, and they were intelligent enough to put their egos aside and open their minds to new concepts. As my friend Dr. John R. said to me during the first break, “There are a lot of people who SHOULD have been here…who are not.” No truer words could have been spoken. Having a box of tools is wonderful, having a set of instructions to go with the tools is better, AND the best option is to have the tools, instruction, and systems in place so that you can’t fail IF you really want to succeed.
I believe that most people want to be successful. I just believe that most people think that, somewhere in their brain, is the know-how to make that happen. The FACT is that it’s not there. And as you go through life wondering why you don’t have what you really want, you will see that NOT having the information you need, is what’s keeping you no less than halfway from where you need to be.
We may offer the HEADSPACE Seminar again…somewhere down the road (just as it was presented this past weekend – not Part II). It will be much more expensive, and those of you who missed this event will still be further behind. I could say that, “It will be alright…don’t worry about it,” but that would be a lie. It will not be alright, and you should worry about it. If I offer that seminar again, it won’t be next year. So that means another year down the drain for some of you who “passed” on the information due to big egos. If and when I offer the HEADSPACE Seminar again, you should clear your schedule of ANYTHING (regardless of importance) so that you can attend.
Have A GREAT Day!
…Dr. Marc
